Report a Spectrum Outage
Reporting an outage takes 10 seconds and helps thousands of other Spectrum customers confirm whether the problem is on Spectrum's side or inside their home.
How to submit a report
- Open the report page and select the affected service (Internet, TV, Wi-Fi, or Mobile).
- Enter your ZIP code so the report lands in the right city cluster.
- Submit. The map updates within 30 seconds and your report is grouped with others in your ZIP.
What happens to your report
Reports are anonymous — no name, no email, no phone. We hash the submitting IP with a rotating salt so the same person can't spam the map, but nothing about you is stored or logged.
Frequently asked questions
Does Spectrum see my report?
Not directly. But when report volume in an area spikes, Spectrum's NOC often catches it faster than their own monitoring — several telecom operators quietly watch community trackers.
Should I still call Spectrum?
Log a ticket in the My Spectrum app so the outage window is documented on your account (needed for bill credits). Calling rarely speeds anything up during a confirmed outage.
