- Outage reports — the city, state, ZIP, service, and optional description you submit. Optional name/handle is treated as public.
- IP address (hashed) — used only to rate-limit reports and prevent abuse. Raw IPs are not stored.
- Basic analytics — page views and referrer, aggregated. No cross-site tracking.
- Cookies & local storage — small identifiers used for session state, dark-mode preference, rate-limit fingerprints, and analytics. You can clear these at any time in your browser.
How we use it
To operate and improve the live outage map, moderate submissions, and understand which pages need improvement. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services & advertising
Hosting is provided by our platform provider and email (when enabled) is sent through our platform's managed email service.
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other approved partners. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites.
