Spectrum Outage Checker is a free community tool. You agree to use it lawfully and not to submit false, harassing, or automated reports. We reserve the right to remove any report at any time.

No warranty

All outage data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Report counts and statuses are user-reported estimates, not official Charter Spectrum data. Do not rely on this site for emergency communications.

Not affiliated

We are not affiliated with Charter Communications, Charter Spectrum, or any subsidiary. Spectrum® is a trademark of Charter Communications. Nothing here should be interpreted as an offer of Spectrum service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectrum Outage Checker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site.

Changes

We may update these terms; the updated version will be posted on this page.

User-submitted content

When you submit an outage report or comment, you grant Spectrum Outage Checker a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, moderate, aggregate, and republish that content on this site and in derivative works (such as regional outage summaries). You retain ownership of your submission and may request removal of a specific report at any time by emailing privacy@spectrumoutagemap.net.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, promotes malware or phishing, contains personal information about other people, or is intentionally false. Automated or scripted submissions violate these terms and will be blocked and, where appropriate, reported.

Comments & moderation

All comments and outage reports are held for human review before appearing publicly. We may edit, refuse, or remove any submission at our sole discretion. Links inside comments are typically stripped to prevent spam; posting comments primarily for promotional or SEO purposes is prohibited and repeat offenders are permanently blocked.

Advertising

This site is supported by contextual display advertising, including Google AdSense. By using the site you acknowledge that ads may be shown alongside editorial content and that advertisers have no editorial input. See our privacy policy for how ad-related cookies are handled and how to opt out of personalized advertising.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spectrum Outage Checker and its operators from any claim or demand arising from content you submit or your violation of these terms.

Governing law
