Spectrum Outage Refund
Spectrum will refund you for confirmed outages — but only if you ask. Here's the exact script and escalation path that works.
The 3-step refund process
- Call 833-949-0036 and reference the exact outage window (use the timeline on our home page as evidence).
- Ask for a prorated bill credit for the affected hours.
- If the rep refuses, ask for a supervisor. If a supervisor refuses, file at fcc.gov/complaints — Executive Relations resolves those within 5 business days.
How much you'll get back
Credits are prorated against your daily service cost. A $70/month internet plan is about $2.33/day or $0.10/hour. A 4-hour outage refunds around $0.40; a full-day outage refunds $2.33.
