What counts as 'my area'
A Spectrum node typically covers 200–500 homes on the same street cluster. When a node goes down, everyone on it loses service at the same time — that's why 'is Spectrum down in my area' is usually a yes/no answer.

What if my ZIP has zero reports?
Either service is fine in your area, or you're the first to notice. Try a wired connection to rule out Wi-Fi issues before submitting a report.
Why do some neighbors have service and I don't?
You may be on a different node or drop cable. Localized outages happen when a single amplifier or tap fails on the pole outside.
